Product Description

PE socket-type end caps are commonly used fittings for drip irrigation tubing and PE lateral pipes, installed at the end of PE pipe or drip irrigation tubing to provide a shut-off function. Another commonly used type is the PE double-ring end cap, which serves the same purpose as the socket-type end cap.

The product is manufactured from polyethylene, resulting in low production costs. It exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, aging resistance, and a long service life, and can be reused multiple times.

Socket-type end caps are used in conjunction with corresponding pipe products. Based on commonly used pipe types, three models of socket-type end caps—16 mm, 20 mm, and 25 mm—are manufactured to match these pipes. Before installation, the prepared drip irrigation pipe (or PE lateral) must have one end trimmed flush; the pipe end must not be cut at an angle. Failure to do so will result in a poor seal, an unstable connection, and leakage.
