Product Description

PE stands for polyethylene, a plastic material whose Chinese name is also “polyethylene.” Due to its high strength, excellent heat resistance, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance, PE is widely used in the manufacturing of water supply and drainage systems. Because it does not rust, it is an ideal replacement for conventional iron water pipes.
  Characteristics of PE pipes:
  1. Reliable connections are achieved using socket-and-spigot fittings or compression fittings, ensuring exceptionally secure joints that are completely leak-proof.
  2. Excellent low-temperature impact resistance: Polyethylene has an extremely low brittle transition temperature and can be safely used in the temperature range of –60°C to 60°C. During winter construction, its superior impact resistance ensures that the pipes will not become brittle and crack.
  3. Excellent resistance to stress cracking, with low notch sensitivity, high shear strength, and outstanding scratch resistance; it also exhibits exceptionally strong resistance to environmental stress cracking.
  4. Excellent chemical corrosion resistance: the pipe is resistant to corrosion by a wide range of chemical media, and the chemical substances present in the soil will not cause any degradation of the pipeline.
  5. Excellent wear resistance means PE pipes have a longer service life and greater cost-effectiveness.
  6. Excellent flexibility: the pipe’s flexibility makes it easy to bend, allowing it to be routed around obstacles by altering its alignment in engineering applications. In many cases, this flexibility can reduce the number of fittings required and lower installation costs.
  7. Low flow resistance: the smooth inner surface and non-adhesive properties of PE pipes ensure higher conveyance capacity compared with traditional pipe materials, while also reducing pressure losses in the pipeline and lowering water transmission energy consumption.
  8. Coiling, installation, and use are simple and convenient, and the product can be reused repeatedly.
  9. A variety of brand-new construction methods.
  Advantages of PE pipes:
  1. It can both replace furrow irrigation to reduce water losses during field conveyance and precisely control and regulate the amount of irrigation water applied in the field;
  2. Integrate the field water delivery and field irrigation control systems into a single unit;
  3. Low energy consumption, low capital investment, low irrigation costs, high-standard water conservation, and high economic returns;
  4. Integration of piped water delivery with on-farm water-saving technologies.
  Scope of application for PE pipes:
  1. Widely used in urban and rural water supply and drainage projects.
  2. Excellent wear resistance and good flexibility.
  3. Long service life and corrosion resistance.
  4. Adaptable to diverse terrains and climate variations.
  5. Widely used in agricultural water-saving irrigation, landscaping irrigation, garden irrigation, field irrigation, greenhouse irrigation, hothouse irrigation, agricultural water conveyance pipelines, and main field pipelines, among others.
