In integrated sprinkler systems, both irrigation and fertilization are fully automated, which helps to reduce labor requirements. So, how does an integrated sprinkler irrigation system work?
Sprinkler tape The manufacturer believes that the operating principle of the integrated water–fertilizer sprinkler irrigation system is sensor-controlled. Soil moisture sensors installed in the field continuously monitor soil moisture levels as well as the concentrations of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. The data collected by these sensors are transmitted in real time to a central computer. When the system detects that soil moisture or nutrient levels fall below the set thresholds, it automatically activates the irrigation or fertilization system; conversely, when these parameters reach the target levels, the system automatically shuts off the irrigation or fertilization system.

All pipelines originate at the water source and are laid out to serve every shrubbery, lawn, and any other area requiring irrigation for landscaping. From each main pipeline, a branch is then tapped off. These branches may be fitted with solenoid valves; after the valve, another branch is tapped, leading to a sprinkler truck, drip irrigation tubing, micro-sprinklers, or drip irrigation emitters—typically used in villas or small courtyards. Plants of the same type should be treated uniformly, while plants of different types should be controlled separately.
