Generally, we use greenhouses to grow vegetables in order to accelerate their maturation and market entry, thereby fetching higher prices; at the same time, greenhouse cultivation broadens both the planting season and the geographical range for vegetable production. By employing drip irrigation—installing a complete drip-irrigation system within the greenhouse, including fertilization units and filtration devices—we can deliver water directly to the crop roots. Compared with traditional surface irrigation, drip irrigation enables earlier vegetable maturity. In addition, drip irrigation offers several other key advantages: (1) As a form of localized irrigation, drip irrigation reduces air humidity inside the greenhouse, thereby decreasing the incidence of diseases and pests; (2) Drip irrigation moistens only the soil immediately surrounding the crop roots, improving soil structure…
