To ensure the proper operation of the field micro-sprinkler tape system, it must be installed meticulously in strict accordance with the technical operating procedures. To this end, the following measures should be implemented:
Field micro-sprinkler tape The system has the following characteristics:
(1) The greenhouse micro-sprinkler tape system encompasses drip irrigation, micro-sprinkling, and drip irrigation tape. This system consists of a water source, a power and filtration unit, water delivery pipelines and fittings, and either drip irrigation tape or sprinklers, making it structurally simple. Once the power is connected, the pump is started, and the valves are opened, watering and fertilization can be carried out automatically, with convenient operation and management that significantly enhances labor efficiency.
(2) Micro-irrigation systems can be installed by hand, with simple and convenient assembly. The investment per mu is relatively low, ranging from 300 to 700 yuan. The typical service life is 3 to 5 years, and the irrigation uniformity is high.
(3) Drip irrigation provides excellent insulation and dehumidification; the drip irrigation system can reduce humidity inside the greenhouse, thereby decreasing the incidence of diseases. In addition, shallow and frequent irrigations help minimize soil temperature decline, thus ensuring optimal activity of soil microorganisms and efficient nutrient uptake by crops.
(4) The micro-sprinkler irrigation system can reduce water consumption by 50–80%, prevent disruption of soil aggregate structure and soil compaction, save 50–70% of labor, ensure high-quality fertilization and pesticide application, enhance fertilizer use efficiency and pesticide efficacy, improve the crop-growing environment, promote earlier market entry and extend the supply period, and increase yields.
To ensure Field micro-sprinkler tape To ensure the system operates normally, it must be meticulously installed in strict accordance with the technical operating procedures. To this end, the following measures shall be implemented:
① Be familiar with the assembly structure of each system as depicted in the hub design drawings, understand the equipment performance, and carry out construction strictly in accordance with the requirements.
②Strictly control equipment quality by thoroughly inspecting all components; any nonconforming parts found—such as burrs that impede water flow, diameter deformation, or inadequate sealing—must be replaced before reinstallation.
③ The inlet and outlet diameters of the filter screen must match the diameter of the supply and delivery water pipes. The aperture size, or mesh count, should be determined based on the type of irrigation emitter used and the cross-sectional area of its flow passage. As a general guideline, the aperture size of the filter screen should be approximately 1/10 to 1/7 of the aperture size of the irrigation emitter being used.
④ To ensure the proper operation of the micro-irrigation system, it is necessary to install control, measurement, and protection devices within the system, including valves, flow meters, pressure gauges, regulators, shut-off valves, and air inlet/vent valves.
⑤ The pressure gauge connection line shall be a threaded buffer tube, and after installing the instrument valve, it shall be connected to the water pipe to prevent water hammer from damaging the instrument.
⑥ Micro-irrigation systems operate under pressure, so all components must be installed tightly. The rubber gasket at the pipe opening should be aligned with the pipe end to prevent the gasket from obstructing the opening and causing water blockage; threaded connections must be securely tightened, and lead-based grease should be applied to the threads before tightening.
⑦ During assembly of the motor and pump, ensure that they are aligned on the same axis.
⑧ Drainage channels or valves shall be installed in areas prone to water accumulation.
When installing the Daitian micro-sprinkler tape, we should pay attention to the following points:
1. Strictly control the water output of the micro-sprinkler heads; a pressure of approximately 2 kilograms is generally sufficient. Do not exceed the recommended pressure or allow it to drop too low, as this will adversely affect irrigation quality.
2. Before starting use, first open the valve on the branch line to allow water to flow through the micro-sprinkler nozzles.
3. During fertilization, slightly close the ball valve (the optimal angle for fertilizer intake is 45°) to allow water to flow through the micro-sprinklers.
4. Regularly inspect and clean the micro-sprinkler nozzles, including routine sand removal and flushing; if the filter screen is found to be damaged, replace it promptly.
5. When shutting down the system, first shut down the pump and other power-driven equipment, then close the valves step by step, starting with the highest-level valve.
6. When opening or closing valves, operate them slowly and avoid excessive speed to prevent water hammer in the piping, which could damage the pipes and micro-sprinklers.
With the advancement of the times, people’s living standards continue to rise, and micro-sprinklers have met everyone’s irrigation needs. We believe that by mastering the installation precautions, you will be able to install micro-sprinklers smoothly, thereby enhancing your work efficiency.
