  • Product Description
  • Explanation of the principle of the plate-type filter:
Thin, color-specific plastic laminates are embossed with precisely dimensioned grooves at both ends. A stack of identical laminates is pressed against a specially designed internal support. As spring force and fluid pressure are applied to compress the assembly, the grooves in the laminates interlock, thereby forming a deep-bed filtration element with a network of interconnected flow channels. This filtration element is then housed within an ultra-high-performance engineering-plastic filter cartridge to constitute a disc-stack filter.
Operating instructions for the plate-and-frame filter:
    1. Before using the disc filter, first check that the disc filter is intact and undamaged.
    2. When installing the plate-type filter, pay attention to the water flow direction (as indicated by the arrow).
    3. When installing the plate-type filter, wrap it with raw material tape to prevent leaks.
    4. During water testing, the pump pressure for the plate-type filter should not be too high to avoid damaging the filter.
    5. Disc-type filters must be regularly cleaned to remove dirt and impurities from the filter discs.
    6. Due to the large number of filter discs interleaved and stacked under pressure, while ensuring effective filtration, plate-type filters inevitably experience significant flow resistance and substantial head loss; therefore, these limitations must be taken into account during operation.
    7. The disc filter is equipped with a backflush function that can automatically remove some of the contaminants adhering to the filter discs; however, it cannot eliminate all contaminants. Therefore, it is best to periodically open the filter and perform manual cleaning to thoroughly remove stubborn residues from the discs.
